Nurumeta TV Anime Announced for 2027 with Director Kai Igarashi and Studio Soigne

An “alternative slice of life” story is finally coming to animation! The official site announced that Kokamumo’s four-panel manga *Nurumeta* will receive a TV anime airing in 2027. The original is serialized in Houbunsha’s *Manga Time Kirara MAX*.

Everyday Life with Kurumi and Friends

The protagonist is Kurumi, an android girl. She spends unpredictable days with her guardian Chiaki, the cool and easygoing Sakina, and Shiyuki, supposedly the only sensible one of the four. The official site describes the series as far outside the usual boundaries of slice-of-life stories.

Creator Kokamumo thanked readers and said they look forward to seeing Kurumi and her friends’ days brought to the screen.

A First-Time TV Director and the Production Team

Kai Igarashi, who is also directing *Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2*, will direct his first TV anime series. Tatsuya Takahashi handles series composition, Shin Ogasawara designs the characters, and Soigne produces the animation.

Igarashi recalled discovering the work with a feeling that something was about to begin and said he hopes to deliver an enjoyable anime. Cast members, broadcast month, and channels have yet to be announced; watch the official site for updates.
