Phantom Busters TV Anime Names Its Four Leads: Nobuhiko Okamoto Plays Mogari

The main cast and staff of the TV anime Phantom Busters, airing in 2027, were announced on the official site on October 27. Nobuhiko Okamoto plays the lead, Mogari; Natsuki Hanae plays Koreshiki; Koki Uchiyama plays Zaki; and Ryota Suzuki plays Tamon.

Chika Nagaoka directs, Takahiro Kishida and Rina Iwamoto design the characters, and TOHO animation STUDIO produces the animation. A teaser visual showing the four characters was released the same day.

The anime is based on Neoshoko's manga serialized in Shueisha's Jump SQ. Mogari, a high school student with the power to eat ghosts, starts an exorcism club called Phantom Busters in Kamakura, joined by Koreshiki, a top student who does not believe in ghosts; Zaki, who can see them; and Tamon, who can talk to them. The TV adaptation was first announced on September 24.

As of October 28, the official site does not list an air date, broadcasters or streaming services.
