Where Is Elf-Sensei’s Toilet? gets TV anime adaptation from Deregura label

An elf teacher who can only relieve herself in the forest is becoming an anime. Wave Corporation, which runs the Deregura anime label, announced on September 25 that Chizuna Nakajima’s manga Where Is Elf-Sensei’s Toilet? will get a TV anime adaptation.

The broadcast window, staff, and cast have not been announced. An official anime X account (@anime_elfsensei_anime) opened alongside the news and is expected to share updates.

What is the story about?

The manga runs in KADOKAWA’s Comic Cune. Its heroine, Ellulu Shikkoshī, is an elf from a priestly school who comes to a human school as a student teacher. She can relieve herself only in a place rich in nature, so she struggles to find alternatives to a toilet in this fantasy comedy.

Serialization resumed on September 26. The manga is also available on KadoComi for readers who want to look at the original before the anime.

From the creator

Nakajima said the anime team understood the work and that she told them to create freely. She noted that some elements changed or were added for an international audience and encouraged fans to enjoy the differences from the ongoing manga.
