Synopsis
After his hideout and collection of stolen treasures are blown up, Lupin III follows a map left behind like an invitation. It points to an island in the Bermuda region that appears on no world map. Lupin and his companions travel there seeking both the mastermind who has repeatedly sent assassins after them and the vast riches supposedly hidden on the island. As they approach, their plane and a pursuing aircraft piloted by Inspector Zenigata are shot down. The strange volcanic island where they crash-land is strewn with weapons, rusting tanks, and ballistic missiles, and has a river that flows upstream, a living cave, and enormous immortal jellyfish. Scattered after escaping the plane, the group is attacked by the island's 'Garbage People,' including Yael Okuzaki, who once fought Jigen. Overpowered by one of them, Luwo, Lupin escapes into the water and eventually reaches Muom, the island's ruler, and Salifa, his interpreter.
