Synopsis
中学3年生の岡聡実と四代目祭林組若頭補佐の成田狂児との奇妙な友情を描いた物語。合唱部部長の岡聡実は中学最後の合唱コンクールのあと、やくざの成田狂児に「カラオケ行こ」と言われ、カラオケボックスに拉致される。狂児は聡実に歌がうまくなるコツを教えてくれと迫る。狂児が在籍する組では年に4回カラオケ大会が開かれ、そこで歌ヘタ王になると組長に下手くそな刺青を彫られるという。狂児は歌ヘタ王を回避すべく、週2回、聡実を学校に迎えに行きカラオケボックスでアドバイスを求める。聡実は渋々練習に付き合うことになった。
