Synopsis
Akari Ozora, a third-year middle schooler at Starlight Academy, and Laala Manaka, a sixth-grader at Paprika Academy, are idols in their respective worlds. When Akari sets an Aikatsu Card and Laala scans her PriTicket, they suddenly appear on the same stage. Idols from both schools gather in one place, to everyone's bewilderment. According to PriPara manager Meganii Akai, simultaneous errors in the Aikatsu and PriPara systems have miraculously connected their worlds. After he consults Starlight Academy leaders Orihime Mitsuishi and Johnny Beppu, they decide to hold a joint live festival. The idols enjoy their dream collaboration, but after PriPara closes and they return home, strange changes appear in both worlds.
